HOT-STAMPING: Discs are imprinted using a hot-stamping process.  Your design is etched into a metal die.  The die is flipped upside down and inserted into a hot stamp machine which heats it.  A piece of foil is placed between the metal die and the disc.  The die stamps the disc melting the foil onto the surface of the disc in the shape of your design.  The hot-stamping process is the most permanent and durable way to imprint a Frisbee®, and can be done with precision, resulting in detailed artwork that lasts.

IMPRINT SIZE: U-Max--disk size: 10 7/8", imprint area: 7"; Jr. Ultimate: disk size: 9 7/8", imprint area 6"; Fastback disk size: 9 5/6", imprint area 5"

ACCEPTABLE ARTWORK FORMATS: We use vector graphics files for the hot-stamp process.  Artwork is typically stored on a computer in either vector graphics or raster graphics format.  While raster graphics are ideal for display on a computer monitor, they look rough and pixilated when printed.  Vector graphics offer the cleanest, crispest version of the artwork for printing processes.  It's important to remember that what you see when you print the artwork is generally what you get when the metal die is created.  Files created by drawing software such as Adobe Illustrator (.eps or .ai) will be in vector graphics format and are ideal, whereas bitmaps (.bmp) and j-pegs (.jpg) are not.  We are happy to review any artwork to see if it can work with our process.  We are unable to use powerpoint files.
PRODUCTION TIME: Typically 7-10 working days after proof approval; if you have an event deadline, let us know!
